Who are we?
The esther element is a unique mentoring organization with the following mission…to teach ‘tween girls to discover their unique gifts, to recognize their true purpose, and ultimately to develop the courage necessary to overcome some of life’s most challenging obstacles.

Who is esther?
While you might recognize the name “Esther” as a biblical character, we do not teach her story from a theological perspective. Rather she serves as a historical role model for a ‘tween age girl. It is documented that “Esther” was a young teen, a ‘tween perhaps who despite being orphaned was chosen to become Queen and reign over the kingdom of Persia in 478 B.C. She is credited for saving hundreds of thousands of Jews from annihilation in 473 B.C. She represents what a girl was created to do. Having faith in what you can’t see. Not being able to fully understand every situation you’re in, but knowing you were put there for a reason. Loving yourself, loving others more, and above all gratitude for the life you are living. Maintaining trusts, eliminating secrets, stepping up and speaking up, and the courage it takes to become a leader that all girls were created to be.

The “esther” principles…
We are girls choosing to live life for a *higher purpose.
We are true
We are respect
We are wisdom
We are strength
We love life
We dream
We hope
We are peace
We are girls with courage
Our “queendom” is committed to transforming the lives of others, ourselves, and our community through…
girls after school clubs. mentoring. home studies. discussion groups. ministry leadership. volunteering. serving.
We are a new revolution of girls leading the way for our generation… for such a time as this.
* a higher purpose refers to girls making a conscious choice to live by values and principles.

Let me introduce myself:
My name is Donna Dennehy, and I have spent the last 20 years as a broadcaster and marketing specialist in the music industry. While working in the music business, I also served as a mentor to ’tween age girls.
I hold a B.A. in Speech with a specialization in Children’s Theater. After serving as a leader and mentor to a group of young girls, I came to realize their concerns were greater than I had imagined. It prompted me to begin researching and compiling a teaching curriculum to address their feedback. I found that by intercepting the girls in the world their living in, I could teach them a universal lesson. How to discover their unique gifts, their true purpose, and their ultimate responsibility…to become a girl with courage that can overcome all obstacles. While I’ve had an extremely successful and award winning career in broadcasting, nothing has been more fulfilling to me than the heart I have for these ‘tween girls.
I am the Mom of three amazing children Jack. Annie. and Caroline. I’ve learned through life we will call many people “friends”, but at the end of the day it will always come down to one person that lets you know you’re OK. My fabulous husband Robert often times refers to me as a “professional talker”. I however like to think of myself as a high energy, creative, and multi-tasking individual with a focus on inspiring others…who I guess does enjoy having awesome, meaningful, and yes…lengthy conversations!

Hey Mrs. Donna!
It’s Meredith Kennedy from summer camp. I tried to publisize (I believe that is how you spell it) the Esther Element a little bit on an art website. If you go to sketchfu.com search in the top box “Esther Element” and atleast one thing popped up on it. I just wanted to let you know…
I wanted to really be part of the revolution.
